My name is Katie Noble and I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy and an avid runner. My passion is helping to empower runners to achieve their best and, in turn, help to elevate the culture of distance running.
Advice to My Younger Self
I spoke at an Alice in Wonderland themed event for preteen girls. I glimpsed into the past, offering answers to my former self and, hopefully, comfort to young girls still tumbling down the rabbit hole.
Ushering in a New Era for Women in Sports Physical Therapy
Our stories as women in sports physical therapy are both singular and shared. We presented our unique journeys, with successes along the way. We also shared the invisible strings tied to women operating in a male-dominated space, like the sports world.
Healthy & Thriving Day Camp for Girls: Reflections
I recently hosted a camp for adolescent girls called, “Healthy & Thriving Day Camp for Girls.” The purpose of the day was to gather girls ages 11-17 together to talk about what it really means to be healthy in sport. My goal was to educate girls about aspects of athletic health – like periods, puberty, and perfectionism.
